Land has been used for soy and corn over the past decades. Only soy has been planted in the past few years. It is fallow this year, mowed and raked to control the weeds, now just growing grass. It can be used for crops, pasture, or hay. Land has some pooling of water in the spring in a few of the lower spots, so we have been digging a trench for help draining. Roughly half of the land is down a hill near Sycamore Creek. We’re open to use over the full 8 acres or even just the 2-acre or 6-acre sections. A soil survey is included with the images.

Tenure Details

For lease, For business partnership

We have 12.2 acres, roughly 1/3 forest, the rest split into 2 sections of tillable land: 2 acres off Allen Rd., 6 acres beyond forest with 16ft width available for equipment to back field. We plan to build a house and barn in a few years but will be open to continuing farming arrangements in most of the land after that point.
